What is Aspiring Ashes?

Aspiring Ashes began with a promise I made to my mother. She wished to become a tree after death. While not possible in the literal sense, I dedicated myself to finding a way to honor her wish in spirit. In 2020, that journey led to the creation of Aspiring Ashes.

Her request inspired me to develop a process that transforms cremated ashes into living memorials. Today, every morning I look at her tree and feel joy knowing her spirit thrives in life. That joy is what I want to share with others.
