Two years later, a legacy of kindness continues to flourish.  

Jerry—lovingly known as “Ol’ Jer”—was a kind and thoughtful man, devoted to his wife and always willing to provide love and shelter to a stray animal in need. His family stories reflect his caring nature, and after Jerry died, his cremation ashes were combined with Aspiring Ashes® memorial soil in a ceremonial planting that established a Pineapple Guava tree in Southern California.  

Two years later, his tree is now in full bloom.  

Today, its branches grow alongside the animals he cared so deeply about, offering shade, shelter, and comfort—much like Jerry once did himself. For his wife, the tree has become more than just a memorial; it is a living testament to Jerry’s kindness, allowing his spirit to be experienced through new growth, blossoms, shade, and the animals gathering nearby.
